From a presentation in Hong Kong recently, revealed information that Nokia intends to put the NFC functionality in each device to be issued.

According to vice president of Nokia, Ilari Nurmi, NFC functionality will also be available in some other Nokia peripherals such as speakers and headsets. This step is regarded as a strong support for the implementation of this technology since Nokia sold around 100 million units of smartphones in a year.

It is also apparent at the launch of three handsets with Symbian OS Belle recently the Nokia 600, 700 and 701.

Yet it still expected ftur will not be available for the most basic Nokia phones.

NFC (Near Field Communication) is one of the features of a communication system that is on the rise because it is capable of bridging functions of a smartphone and mobile phone into an electronic payment instrument.

Various companies have expressed support for this technology such as Google and Citibank.
