But unfortunately many were disappointed that Dell Streak 7 congenital OS was OS 2.2 Froyo. But the recent news that Dell Streak 7 will soon get an official OS updates Honeycomb.

Erik Day, Director of Marketing for Dell EMEA, Dell confirmed Streak 7 will soon get an update to the Android 3.2 Honeycomb.

Erik Day demonstrates Honeycomb OS 3.2 on a Dell Streak 7 in the event the IFA 2011. With the use of Tegra2 1GHz processor Dual-Core and the use of 7-inch screen it's indeed worth if Dell Streak 7 Honeycomb immediately get the OS which is optimized for tablets.

This news certainly makes all users of Dell Streak 7 relieved and happy that many are starting to worry and sell Dell Streak 7 because the tablets they were armed only with OS 2.2 Froyo already becoming obsolete.

There has been no definite date of the launch of this update but it is certain at this September.
